Medea has sacrificed everything for her husband, Jason. She turned her back on her family, betrayed her father and her homeland, and fled with him to a foreign land to begin a new life. But there she remains an outsider, denied the rights of those who belong, and now the man she gave up everything for means to leave her and marry another woman. Medea will not let her pride and honour be taken from her.
